Post Stroke Rehabilitation

3 Months, 1 year, 3 years post stroke? Individualised assessment to discuss your goals and work together to reach them.

I can work with you to help reduce and manage symptoms of pain, progress your walking and review use of mobility aids, increase your strength and balance, help you to achieve functional goals, like getting out of bed independently, getting into and out of the car and more

Falls and Balance Rehabilitation

Feeling unsteady? Fear of falling should not stop you getting out and enjoying life. Falling is not a normal part of ageing and risks of falling can be significantly reduced with a personalised exercise program to build strength, mobility and balance. I can also teach you how to get up from the floor should you fall.

Group Balance classes (65+) - up to 4 people

Exercising with your friends keeps you motivated, enjoy challenging each other and working together to improve your balance both physically and mentally. Find your centre with flowing movement and breath work (optional), work on your balance to reach that can of beans at the back of the cupboard, or simply come to get moving and have a catch up with friends

Exercise with Dementia

Living with Dementia does not mean giving up hobbies, activities, exercise or your social life. Continuing an active lifestyle enhances quality of life, maintains mobility and can reduce stress.
Join me for one-to-one personalised exercise sessions or choose to exercise with your friends (up to 4 people).

Parkinson's Disease Therapy

What is important to you? Reduced strength, mobility, falls and freezing are common for people living with PD. Finding the right cueing technique may help you to get through doorways or answer the phone when it rings. Regular exercise can help maintain function and mobility as PD progresses. I can also review your walking aid, practise walking up and down stairs, get outside and more.

Post Hospital Admission

Unplanned hospitalisation is likely to reduce your mobility and global strength. You may be struggling with fatigue, reduced balance and difficulty getting out of the house.

I will help you build your strength and confidence to return to doing the things you want to.

Exacerbation of COPD? I can support you with breathing exercises, relaxation, pacing and increasing your exercise tolerance.

What I Offer... (and more, just ask!)

Thanks for your thorough assessment today. It was good to have a professional viewpoint.
